Hey, I’m Ally!

I’m a neurodivergent filmmaker turned photographer who started my business in 2013 while living out of my car with only my camera, laptop, and a twelve-year-old cat. I worked hard to build a business out of nothing, and booking a photographer is expensive. So, I keep my prices low to honor the fact that I didn’t start out with much and because I don't want people to have to take out a second mortgage to get quality photos. In keeping this mentality, I’ve found that the folks who hire me end up becoming lifelong friends because I don’t treat clients as just a paycheck. This is why, in my portfolio, you will see repeats of families. Not because I don’t have an extensive portfolio but because folks tend to keep me around.

I'm there to be your photographer and a supportive helper throughout the process. I've changed diapers, stepped in as the wedding coordinator, and even made a quick dress for the flower girl out of bridesmaid robes and hotel decor flowers. Do you need to glue sequins on all your name cards the night before the wedding? Give me a call, and I'll come to help with snacks. Did you forget the safety pins? I bring an emergency kit with everything from aspirin to a handheld sewing machine on the wedding day. Being a wedding photographer means caring for the client before, during, and after the wedding.
